**Jokes: **

India is amazing and funny; people swiftly ask for and give you their number, whether for the OTP (one-time password) or the friend you’ve just made on the gully (street). Is it possible maybe we focus too much on privacy implications in North America?

Everyone in India has a mobile, and e-payments are accepted all over, from the vegetable vendor on the street to the pooja shop in the temple - thank you, PhonePay!

When residing in India, you might hear yourself saying, “it's too hot” or “it's too cold”. You might be wasting a lot of time in traffic, either waiting for a pickup or drop-off.

Many inefficiencies exist for a country that prides itself on tech and advancements.

Population joke: Canada needs more population, and India needs less. Simple as that, but too many people are now resorting to pets, not kids.

India is busyness= Business!

Facts/ Opinion

The sad commonality between India and North America: every night,, the countries see hundreds to thousands of people getting ready to sleep on the bare ground.. Today India is more popular than ever.

The nation represents the movement of people, goods and services (especially in the masses); it’s a hustle, a bustle, and constantly booming in numbers. India depicts vastness and expansive - consistently building new airports, subways and bridges from Goa to Mumbai.

India and many third-world countries keep staff at home - and their labour is cheap. On one hand, yes -, homemakers are providing jobs to local people, but it's hard to accept that this person is doing your dirty work especially when they are only paid the equivalent of $50 an hour (in CDN) or max $500 (a month in India).

There are dogs everywhere, more pet stores, and increased ownership of pets - , but the dog walkers are not always the dog walkers! Sometimes, the staff, even, the cook or the driver is doing the dog walking. These staffs have families, children studying in English medium schools, and they are advancing up the class system, which is good because there is economic prosperity for those in the country. However, there is still a lacking of human rights. Today, there may be fewer people begging on the streets, but maybe they have been moved to the villages - so how do we solve this problem? It is fixing itself; India is in the world's top economies and growing fast, and hopefully will auto-correct.

India has changed, perhaps the middle class has gotten more prominent, but inequality is still there. And still, helmet laws can be improved! plus too many credit unions and very high interest in mortgage loans.

A potential solution to India’s problems:

Take the people in the slums, give them money, provide them with food, give them hygiene, give them a job, educate them. This will allow them to prosper.

Problems arise whena child comes to Canada or North America because they lose their sanskara values; they lose their ability to see humility.

Indian women have been the backbone of the country for 200+ years - they cooked for the man, cleaned for the men, took care of the man, and cared for the children. Now it’s the man’s turnto return the favour.
