We might say we are struggling with desire, lust, attachment, anger and achieving happiness in our lives - but really, it is all about our perspective. Each day,always strive for your best, aiming to go to bed each night exhausted and able to say you gave it your all for yourself and those around you. This is my all: Growing up, music surrounded me-, English and bollywood classics, movies, rap, hip hop, rnb. Some of my favorite artists were Tupac, Bob Marley, B.I.G. Till today I can still sing some of their songs by memory. I remember my first performance on stage; it was in 2015 at a pub in Ottawa. I still remember it like it was yesterday - the freestyle rap with a musical duo from friends I had just met. I got called to follow that feeling of being on stage, the hype of the crowd after the performance and the encouragement from those around me to never stop music and rap. a few years; I introduced the speaking house concept at school: the aim, of course,was self-expression, and the purpose was to share and perform mediums of self expression through written stories, songs and art. In 2017, I took up more written work and began to share more words publicly. My memories of 2017 to 2019 were backyard get-togethers with musical adventures on the weekends. In mid 2019, I recorded and mastered my first freestyle rap into a song! But, there’s always been a bit of stigma.. “how would this be perceived? How does music and art play in our life? How can one be in two worlds as a business professional and also an artist? How is music representative of who we are, how will we be judged, and why we do it?Well,I took to the stage again in 2021 - this time the comedic stage, and to share and speak once again. In2022, I hosted my own show. I'm thankful, grateful and proud that in 2023, I am en route to publishing a 3 part book, including the integration of comedic reels, written work and self-produced songs.
